【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiestheinstallation(seeNote1)andmaintenanceofdomesticgascookingappliancesindomestic,commercialandindustrialpremises(seeNote2andNote3),includingeducationalestablishments(seeNote4).ItisapplicabletogascookingappliancesconformingtoBS5386-3andBS5386-4andburning2and3familygases,andappliancesconformingtoBSEN30-1.Itisnotapplicabletocookerswithintegralboilersusedtoprovidecentralheating,whicharecoveredinBS6798.ItisrecognisedthatthisstandardmightbereferredtofortheinstallationofgascookingappliancesconformingtostandardsotherthanBS5386-3,BS5386-4andBSEN30-1.However,othercriteriamightalsoapply,suchassurfacetemperatures,temperatureriseofsurroundings,appliancestability,etc.,andthesehavetobetakenintoaccountinthemethodofinstallation.NOTE1Forthepurposesofthisstandard,installationincludesdesign,inspectionandcommissioning.Itisrecognisedthateachofthesetaskscanattimesbeperformedbythesamepersons.NOTE2Aswellasnormallyconstructeddwellings,domesticpremisesincludeanypermanentlysitedleisureaccommodationvehicles,residentialparkhomesandpermanentlymooredboats.ParticularandadditionalrequirementsexistforthesecategoriesofpremisesandcanbefoundinIGE/UP/8[12].NeitherthisstandardnorIGE/UP/8[12]appliestogasinstallationsintowedormotorisedcaravans.NOTE3Wheredomesticcookingappliancesareinstalledincommercialorindustrialpremisesinconjunctionwithcateringappliances,referenceshouldbemadetoBS6173,particularlywithregardtoventilationandextraction.NOTE4AdditionalinformationoninstallationsineducationalestablishmentsisgiveninIGE/UP/11[13].
