【摘要】:ThisdocumentprovidesguidanceonapplyingtheRAMrequirementsinEN50126-1torollingstockandfordealingwithRAMactivitiesduringthesystemlifecyclephasesfrominvitationtotendertodemonstrationinoperationonly.AllreferencestoEN50126-1concerntheversionof1998.Theguideisaimedatthecustomers/operatorsandmainsuppliersofrollingstock.Themainpurposeoftheguideisto:?enableacustomer/operatorofrollingstock:?tospecifytheRAMrequirementsaddressingthetypeofoperationintermsoftheendcustomerneeds,consideringserviceavailabilityandeconomicconsiderations;?toevaluatedifferenttenders,intermsofRAMrequirements,onacommonbasiswiththeaidofspecificRAMdocuments;?togainassurance,duringdesign/developmentphase,thattherollingstockbeingofferedislikelytosatisfytheRAMcontractualrequirementsbyexaminingstepbystepdetailedandspecificRAMdocumentsasanoutputoftheRAMactivitiesperformedduringthedevelopmentphase;?tovalidatethattherollingstock,asdelivered,satisfiesthespecifiedRAMrequirements?toenablethemainsupplierofrollingstock?tounderstandthecustomers/operatorsRAMrequirements?toprovidesubstantiveinformation/visibilityinatendertoshowthattheproductofferedislikelytosatisfytheRAMrequirementsbyperformingpreliminaryRAManalysis;?toprovidesubstantiveinformationduringdesign/developmentphasetoshowthattheproductofferedislikelytosatisfytheRAMrequirementsbyperformingdetailedRAManalysis;?todemonstratethattheproductdeliveredsatisfiestheRAMrequirements;RegardingLCC,thisapplicationguideisrestrictedtoprovidingonlythekeyRAMparametersnecessarytobeincorporatedintoanLCCModel.Thisapplicationguideexcludes:?RAMvaluesconnectedtothedifferentRAMrequirements(however,itcontainsasimpleguidelineofactionsforsupportingthedecisionmakingprocessandchoosingappropriatevalues,see5.4)?specificRAMdocumentstobeproducedandactivitiestobeperformed.However,itprovides,onlyasanexample,typicaldataanddocumenttemplatesforrecordingtheoutputofaRAManalysis).
