【摘要】:ThispublicationincludesallofthewrittenrepliesissuedbetweentheindicateddatesbytheSecretary,speakingfortheASMEB30StandardsCommittee,SafetyStandardsforCableways,Cranes,Derricks,Hoists,Hooks,Jacks,andSlings,toinquiriesconcerninginterpretationsoftechnicalaspectsofASMEB30.9,Slings.Theserepliesaretakenverbatimfromtheoriginallettersexceptforafewtypographicalcorrectionsandsomeminoreditorialcorrectionsmadeforthepurposeofimprovedclarity.Insomefewinstances,areviewoftheinterpretationrevealedaneedforcorrectionsofatechnicalnature;inthesecases,acorrectedinterpretationfollowsimmediatelyaftertheoriginalreply.TheseinterpretationswerepreparedinaccordancewiththeaccreditedASMEprocedures.ASMEproceduresprovideforreconsiderationoftheseinterpretationswhenorifadditionalinformationisavailablethattheinquirerbelievesmightaffecttheinterpretation.Further,personsaggrievedbythisinterpretationmayappealtothecognizantASMECommitteeorSubcommittee.ASMEdoesnot“approve,”“certify,”“rate,”or“endorse”anyitem,construction,proprietarydevice,oractivity.
