【摘要】:Forageosynthetictobeproperlyuseditmustbeadequatelyidentifiedandpackaged.Itmustbehandledandstoredinsuchawaythatitsphysicalpropertyvaluesarenotdegraded.Failuretofollowgoodpracticemayresultintheunnecessaryfailureofthegeosyntheticinaproperlydesignedapplication.Thisguideisnotintendedtoreplaceproject-specificstorage,handling,identification,packaging,orinstallationrequirementsorqualityassuranceprograms.1.1Thisguideprovidesguidelinesfortheidentificationandpackagingofrolledgeosyntheticsbythemanufacturerandforthehandlingandstorageofgeosyntheticsbytheenduser.Thisguideisnottobeconsideredasallencompassingsinceeachprojectinvolvinggeosyntheticspresentsitsownchallengesandspecialconditions.Geosyntheticsamplesareoftentakenatmanufacturer,supplier,oratthejobsiteprimarilyforthepurposeofconformancetestingandverification.Thesesamplesshouldbeproperlylabeledforidentificationpurposes.1.2Thisguideisintendedtoaidmanufacturers,suppliers,purchasers,andusersofgeosyntheticsforidentification,handling,andstorage.1.3Thisguideisnotapplicableforfactoryfabricatedpanelsduetoadifferentsetofidentificationsforthepanelbythefabricator.1.4Thisguideisalsoapplicabletogeosyntheticsamples.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
