【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoverstheprocedureforpreparinglaboratoryprintsofpasteinksusingaprintinggageinconjunctionwithaflat-bedproofpress.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletothepreparationofsolid-areaprintsbydirectletterpressorbydryoffsetonaflatsubstratesuchaspaper,paperboard,ormetal.1.3Thispracticeisapplicableprimarilytolithographicandletterpressinksthatdrybyoxidationorpenetration.Withtheadditionofappropriatedryingorcuringequipment,itisalsoapplicabletootherpasteinksystemssuchasheat-setorenergy-curable.1.4Theinstructionsinthispracticeareintendedtominimizethewithin-printandamong-operatorvariabilityinherentinhandoperations.1.5Thispracticefeaturesbuilt-ininkfilmthicknesscontrol.Itdoesnotmeasurethefilmthicknesstransferredtotheprint;however,filmthicknessequivalencemaybeevaluatedbyvisualorinstrumentalcomparisonsofopticaldensity.1.6ValuesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionsaregiveninSection7.
