【摘要】:Themetallossfromcorrosionisdirectlyrelatedtotheincreaseinelectricalresistanceofthetargetduetothedecreaseinconductivecross-sectionalarea.Therelationshipbetweenresistanceincreaseofmetallictargetsusedinthistestmethodandtheamountofmetallossasreportedbyauniformlossinthicknesshasnotbeendetermined.Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminethecorrosiveeffectofcombustionproductsfromburningelectricalinsulationsorcoveringsortheirconstituentmaterialsorcomponents.Corrosionisdeterminedbythereductionofthicknessofthemetalonstandardizedtargets,asmeasuredbyelectricalresistance.Thesetargetsarenotnecessarilyrepresentativeoftheintendedenduse.Thistestmethodisintendedforuseinelectricalinsulationsorcoveringsmaterialandproductevaluations,foradditionaldatatoassistindesignofelectricalinsulationsorcoveringsproducts,orfordevelopmentandresearchofelectricalinsulationsorcoveringsproducts.Avalueoftheheatingfluxisselectedtoberelevanttothefirescenariobeinginvestigated(upto100kW/m2).AdditionalinformationfortestingisgiveninA1.2.3.1.1Thisfire-test-responsestandardmeasuresthecorrosiveeffectbylossofmetalfromthecombustionproductsofmaterials,components,orproducts.1.2Thistestmethodprovidescorrosionresultsofproductandmaterialspecimenslimitedtoamaximumsizeof100by100mminareaand50mmthick.1.3Theresultsofthistestmethodhavenotbeeninvestigatedwithrespecttocorrelationtoactualfires.1.4Thisstandardmeasuresanddescribestheresponseofmaterials,products,orassembliestoheatandflameundercontrolledconditions,butdoesnotbyitselfincorporateallfactorsrequiredforfirehazardorfireriskassessmentofthematerials,products,orassembliesunderactualfireconditions.1.4.1Additionalinformationregardingthetargets,thetestconditions,andtestlimitationsareprovidedintheannex.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecifichazardstatements,seeSection7.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.(See)1.7Firetestingisinherentlyhazardous.Adequatesafeguardsforpersonnelandpropertyshallbeemployedinconductingthesetests.
